Our genealogy volunteers would probably love a project like that if you need help. Although I am sure the Eagle scouts would do a good job it would probably be helpful to have some people involved in the transciption or proofing process who are familiar with the family names in the area at that time as well to cut down on errors.<br />MichaelMichaelBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04451588540901415180noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2488824403872660425.post-79291823468444911702011-01-25T19:02:10.312-05:002011-01-25T19:02:10.312-05:00About two years ago the official church record boo...About two years ago the official church record book for St. Luke's Episcopal Church of Courtenay (Merritt Island) was returned after being missing for over 50 years. We hope to have an Eagle scout project to transcribe and post the records of our church from it's origins in the late 1880's to the early 1950's. The church was a mission during this time, but baptisms, confirmations, weddings and funerals were recorded in the book by the various priests and bishops who officiated on those occasions.
